One month has passed and in more ways than one, we have somewhat grown and adapt to the lifestyle and culutre in Shanghai. I believe that this is merely the begining stage and there are a lot more for us to experience. While we are all in this unqiue city, let it be also a time for us to look back at our reasons for joining NOC. Write it down and keep it somewhere, one year later, that piece of paper will reflect the changes that you have experienced and perharps you would be able to reach a conclusion to this journey.
I think we have somthing special here among the 19 seniors and 26 juniors. I feel that Shen, as an organization, is an avenue for each of us to interact with the locals on a culturally and business point of view. But more importantly, i feel Shen allows two batches of people to come together interact and support one another in a home away from home. let shen be the home you would come to in Shnaghai, let Shen be the place where your dreams can be fufilled, let shen be something special. i think the synergy and structure in place will build up that speciality of shen and its really up to each and everyone to decide their paths during this one year. hopefully those paths will converge into a really special path, a path that you will not be walking alone but together with a group of friends in this city called Shanghai.
I am still begining to learn more about Shen and i think everyone should make the effort because its a great avenue for yourself to accomplish your goals whatever they might be. I am unsure how various goals can eventually be incorporated in the direction and vision of Ernest and his team but I am sure that there is no harm in trying. The sky is the limit, reach out and i think everyone will support you.
