Life's Story

I am Busy." is always just an excuse.

Please read below.

A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up avery large and empty mayonnaise jar andproceeded to fillit with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand andpoured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes." The professor then produced two cups of coffeefromunder the table and poured the entire contents intothe jar, effectively filling the empty space betweenthe sand. The students laughed."Now," said the professor, as the laughtersubsided,"I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life."The golf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, andyour favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life wouldstill be full."The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car."The sand is everything else--the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls."The same goes for life. "If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you."Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness."Play with your children. "Take time to get medical checkups."Take your partner out to dinner. "There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal."Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter."Set your priorities. "The rest is just sand."One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked."It just goes to show you that no matter how fully our life may seem, there's always room for a cup of coffee with a friend."

Have a nice day.

HARBIN FREEZE OUT.

For those who never bring to HARBIN- No sweat.

Proudly present to you.. HARBIN FREEEZE-OUT!

The plane ride to Harbin. We are all gear up for the freaking cold weather! Here we go...

Trust Disney to have their own ice sculpture as well!
Everything is so fairytale-like and all so pretty. The perfect place to feel young all again.
We have Mickey and friends, Winne and Pooh, Snow White, Toy Story blahblah.
And oh, there's a 2.5 story high slide which is soooo FUN.

Imagine 松花江 turn into ice, covered with thin layer of snow. Then imagine looking across the lake. WoOoOooW.
It's almost like the dream childhood days-where you go on the slides, ice skate around..
It's a hell lota fun!

And how can we miss the magnificent Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival?

And I'm not exaggerating, it's HUGE and AMAZING.
Seriously, I wonder how did they managed to build it!

And how can we forget SKIING!
We took a 3hrs ride to YaBuLi, and it being the first time for all us, we were excited. (or at least for me!)
And the best part, I never fell. But there were times when I was like AHHH.. So damn scared!
AND i wanna SKI AGAIN! :D
If you are heading there, pls stay at least overnight, cuz 2hr is simply not enough.

AND so that's almost the end of HARBIN FREEZE OUT.
But it wasn't as COLD as expected. I kinda like the weather.
So do go there if you have the chance.
People will think you are damn cool-like 'WOW, you went to HARBIN?!' :D
*winks.

your friendly reporter,
tini.
